Four Weeks in the Big Rig

IMG_1230 Today marks four weeks living in the Big Rig on our Big Adventure. It’s flown by. We celebrated with a deliciously greasy New York style “the works” pizza. Really living, I know.

So far our Big Adventure has exceeded our expectations. Other Half and I did not expect to be this comfortable this quick. We are not missing our big house or our stuff. (We are missing our family and friends.) The Big Rig has all the creature comforts and doesn’t leak in torrential downpours. That’s a good thing.

But it does get filthy dirty. Trusting the weather guys, we picked a sunny day and had the Big Rig washed. Two energetic guys showed up in a truck with “soft” water and long handled sponges.  The Big Rig looks shiny and new again. That’s a good thing.

Beesly was happy to see her. She brought me back to the campground today, after we pigged out at the Artisan Cheese Gallery in Studio City. Rigby was happy to NOT see Beesly. She’s officially back to princess status.

IMG_1226We are spending the weekend here and then heading out Monday morning. It’s been nice to be parked for a bit, but we are ready to move on. That’s why our home has wheels. Before we go, I want to share a couple more waterfowl pics. I’m a sucker for quaking and honking at all hours of the day and night.
